Here are the meanings of the words , along with examples: 1. Escort → To accompany someone for protection, guidance, or as a companion. Example: The security guard escorted the celebrity to her car. 2. Lapses → Temporary failures or declines in concentration, memory, or judgment. Example: Due to a lapse in attention, she missed an important detail in the report. 3. Intervene → To step in to prevent or alter a situation. Example: The teacher had to intervene when the students started arguing. 4. Quasi → Seemingly or partially something; resembling but not exactly the same. THE ANGEL FROM GOD “Clean your room, Lily,” said Rahab, her mom. Lily nodded her head, with her eyes focused on her mobile, lying down with ease and irresponsibility over her works and studies. After an hour, she remembered to finish an assignment ,with an alarm. With a battle in her mind, for procrastinating both cleaning and assignment works, she got up from bed and kept her mobile near her watch. Suddenly she went into a class, seeing herself in that room.
