📅 Day 8 – Verb "estar" (to be)

Use estar for temporary things like emotions, locations, and conditions.

🧠 PART 1: Conjugation of estar

Use the acronym PLACE to remember when to use estar:

🧪 PART 4: Special Notes

⚠️ "Estar" + gerund (action happening now)

Use this to say "I am doing something" (present progressive)

Formula:
estar + verb ending in -ando / -iendo

Examples:

  • Ella está leyendo → She is reading
