1. Getting Started with GIMP

Install GIMP from gimp.org.

Understand the workspace:

Toolbox (Left): Tools like Move, Select, Crop, Brush.

Canvas (Center): Your working area.

Layers/Paths/Brushes (Right): Manage your project parts.

2. Layers - The Backbone of Editing

Layer = One element, like a sticker.

Layers can be moved, resized, edited separately.

Top layers hide parts of layers below unless they have transparency.

Always name your layers properly (e.g., Background, Title Text, Glow Effect).
